Posted on July 31, 2017 (July 31, 2017) Share: This weekend, Bay-Area based artist and activist, Alan Marling took to the streets of Oakland and Berkeley to project a light-message sharing our Divest Trump SoHo campaign. The message was projected on the wall of the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive at the UC Berkeley Museum of Art. A second image was projected at the Uptown Station in Oakland, opposite the historic Fox Theater. Eye-catching and impactful, the projections temporarily take over a public space to broadcast our divestment message to unsuspecting passers-by. It’s guerrilla art meets citizen activism — and it’s just the energy our Divest Trump SoHo campaign is generating.
