Posted on October 31, 2024 (October 31, 2024) FSFP Updates Share: Free Speech For People is excited to welcome Sage Snider, as our new Public Interest Legal Fellow. During law school, Sage worked as a legal intern for the Tennessee ACLU, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services and authored multiple publications on laws pertaining to Confederate monument removal. Previously, she served as “Director of Cultural Engagement” for the nonprofit Braver Angels, which works to fight polarization in America. Beyond her legal and political work, Ms. Snider has professional experience working in museums and as a touring musician. Ms. Snider clerked for the Senior Judges of the D.C. Court of Appeals and graduated Order of the Coif with a J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School. She also has an M.A. from Brown University and a B.A. from Yale University. “I’m honored to join FSFP in its fight for democracy at a time when there is so much urgent, impactful, and dangerous litigation happening around elections. I think this is the most important work I could be doing right now,” said Sage Snider. “We are thrilled to welcome Sage to Free Speech For People as our legal fellow.
