Free Speech For People is excited to welcome Suparna Reddy, as our new Senior Counsel.

Prior to joining the staff of Free Speech For People, she served as a Supervising Attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, where she defended over 200 low income tenants in eviction and money damages cases and led one of Legal Aid’s rare affirmative fair housing cases. Before Legal Aid, Ms. Reddy served as legislative counsel in the U.S. Congress for members of both chambers. She has also worked as an antitrust lawyer at a large law firm in DC.

Before graduating from law school, Ms. Reddy interned at the U.S. Department of Labor and Canadian Parliament. She also worked on economic development in Cleveland, Ohio and Hyderabad, India.

Ms. Reddy received her J.D. from Columbia Law School. She received her B.A. in political science and economics from The Ohio State University.

“I am excited and honored to join the vital fight for democracy spearheaded by Free Speech For People during these challenging times,” said Suparna Reddy, upon joining the FSFP team.

“We are thrilled to welcome Suparna Reddy to Free Speech For People. She brings critical skills, important experience in defending our country’s most vulnerable communities, and a powerful commitment to our work.
