We appreciate the talent, time, and commitment to defending our democracy that these law students bring to the Free Speech For People team. Learn more about our new Legal Advocacy Program interns below! Noah Kest is a rising second-year student at Harvard Law School. He graduated from University of Pennsylvania in 2020 with a B.A. in History and Philosophy and earned a master’s in History from University of Oxford in 2021. Prior to law school, Noah worked as a management consultant in New York. Aaron Rosewood is a rising third-year at Harvard Law School. He graduated from Brown University in 2009 with a B.A. in Literary Arts and earned a master’s degree in teaching from Brown University in 2010. Prior to law school, he taught middle- and high-school English in Rhode Island. He is a voracious reader, an enthusiastic board gamer, and a proud father. Shayna Solomon is a rising second-year student at Harvard Law School. She graduated from Tufts University in 2019 with a B.A. in International Relations and Political Science. Prior to law school, Shayna worked as a paralegal in the civil division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of Massachusetts and a Research Director in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. In her free time, Shayna enjoys ceramics, baking, and running. Qifan Zhang is a rising second-year student at UCLA School of Law. She graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University, with a PhD in Philosophy and Education in 2022 and earned a B.A. in Philosophy at the University of Rochester in 2014. In June 2023, Qifan published her first poetry collection titled Lovely. Prior to law school, she worked at an IP legal firm. In her free time, Qifan enjoys playing squash, reading Italo Calvino’s novels, and practicing driving.
