On October 31st, Free Speech For People sent a letter to the Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry calling on her to take all appropriate and necessary steps to urgently remove Stefanie Lambert from representing Fulton County, Pennsylvania as “special counsel” for all elections and election-related matters. Lambert is a key figure in the effort to steal the presidential election for Donald Trump in 2020 and is currently under felony indictment in her home state of Michigan in two separate cases for conspiracy to access voting machines without authorization.

According to records obtained by Free Speech For People, Lambert was appointed “special counsel” for Fulton County, Pennsylvania in April 2022. Free Speech For People recently sued Fulton County to produce, under Pennsylvania’s Right to Know Laws, all communications between the county and a cohort of Trump allies that tried to overturn the 2020 election. In the course of filing the lawsuit, Fulton County advised that Lambert represents the county as special counsel, despite not holding a Pennsylvania law license. Pennsylvania code 16 Pa.C.S. § 13304 requires all county solicitors, assistant county solicitors and special counsel be licensed to practice in the Commonwealth.

Arguing Lambert’s appointment is unlawful, Free Speech For People urged the Attorney General to act urgently because of Lambert’s extensive record of trying to undermine U.S. elections.

“After the 2020 election, Stefanie Lambert was an integral part of the unlawful and sustained scheme to overturn the 2020 election results in order to steal the presidency for Donald Trump. As part of this scheme, she has perpetuated dangerous and repeatedly debunked election fraud allegations and she is directly connected to efforts in several states to gain unauthorized access to voting systems and software, including in Fulton County. As Election Day 2024 rapidly approaches, it is urgent that Lambert be removed from her position as special counsel in Fulton County to protect the integrity of Pennsylvania’s elections,” the letter warns.

The letter details Lambert’s involvement in facilitating unauthorized access to Fulton County’s voting equipment that is connected to a tangled web of legal actions between the county and the Secretary of the Commonwealth that caused the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania to admonish her conduct. It also highlights the fact that Lambert is also currently under felony indictment in Michigan for her alleged involvement in conspiracies to unlawfully obtain voting equipment and software in Michigan and that she is implicated in receiving copies of voting system software taken unlawfully in Georgia.

“Stefanie Lambert is a menace to free and fair elections in Pennsylvania and the entire nation,” said Susan Greenhalgh, Senior Advisor on Election Security at Free Speech For People.  “She is currently serving as special counsel to a county in Pennsylvania despite not holding a license to practice law in Pennsylvania, and is positioned to try to disrupt the certification of Pennsylvania’s election results. The Attorney General must act with urgency to remove her.”
