Posted on January 18, 2013 (November 20, 2020) Democracy Amendments Share: Yesterday in Olympia, WA, we joined with a coalition of Washington State groups to deliver roughly 12,000 petition signatures, calling for a constitutoinal amendment to overtun Citizens United, to State Senator Adam Kline. Oske Buckley and Arielle Davis from Free Speech For People’s staff participated, and Oske spoke at the delivery event. Other groups that participated included the WAMEND coalition, Get Money Out of Politics, FUSE, Washington Public Campaigns, Island County Citizens Ignited Against Citizens United, Metropolitan Democratic Club, Move On-Seattle Council, Move to Amend, Public Citizen, and WashPIRG.
