Free Speech For People is seeking a Campaign Organizer with grassroots organizing and broad movement-building experience to join a cutting-edge non-profit fighting for democracy.

Free Speech For People, is a national nonprofit nonpartisan organization working to renew our democracy and our United States Constitution for we the people. FEC, we have served as a leading force in the country to defend our Constitution and to reclaim our democracy.

Free Speech For People is a leader in the fight to advance model legislation that ends political spending by corporations with significant foreign investment. Our model legislation has been introduced at the federal, state, and local level. In support of our model legislation, we work in coalition with lawmakers; local and national organizations; key stakeholders; and activists and local communities.

The Campaign Organizer will work directly with the Campaign Director to help advance our model legislation to end foreign-corporate spending in U.S. elections and work on other related democracy campaigns.

Our other recent projects include litigation challenging illegal intimidation of voters, voter suppression laws, and insecure voting systems; legislation to eliminate super PACs; and comprehensive model legislation to hold social media companies accountable when they engage in targeted amplification of disinformation and threats of violence on their platforms. In addition, Free Speech For People has been one of the leading organizations to enforce Section 3 of the 14th Amendment and bar insurrectionists from the ballot. Most of our projects involve bold new approaches to advocacy and organizing and we have a track record of success in advancing our initiatives.
