Heard of the #McConnelling trend from the recent The Daily Show? episode? If not, TPM sums it up pretty nicely here:

The Kentucky Republican’s re-election campaign released an odd, speechless ad Tuesday that began with about 15 seconds of footage of the senator staring straight into the camera and smiling. So [Jon] Stewart played back that McConnell b-roll to everything from Simon and Garfunkel to The Who to Sir Mix-A-Lot. As he pointed out, the clip works with all of them.

The Daily Show has invited the world to do their own take on #McConnelling, so we decided to create our own version. In light of the $18,243,224 he’s raised in campaign contributions since 2009 from groups like Citigroup, JPMorgan, & Goldman Sachs — we thought this edition to be pretty fitting.
