Free Speech For People Board Chair and Senior Legal Advisor Ben Clements recently appeared on The BradCast to discuss why Congress must impeach Donald Trump again.

“When you look at the speech that Trump gave to those people who attacked Congress yesterday…and you look at his promotion of violence in general over the last four years, it was absolutely foreseeable that the people he conspired with ― that he urged to attack Congress ― would engage in violence and that people could be killed,” said Clements.

Following Trump’s incitement of violence which resulted in a seditious mob attack on the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, FSFP drafted two new articles of impeachment and demanded that Trump be immediately impeached, convicted, removed, and disqualified from future federal office.The organization also recently led a coalition urging President-Elect Biden’s AG-designate, Judge Merrick Garland, to create, upon his confirmation, an independent task force in the DOJ to investigate President Trump and his associates for any potential federal criminal or civil violations.
